As a member of the NAPCS Board, I am striving to set the highest
standards of doula training and doula care throughout the United
States and creating professionalism in our field. I am very
concerned with having the latest techniques and training available
for doulas, so that they can better educate the new families with
the latest technology and information.
Before becoming a postpartum doula, I worked as a Nanny for
numerous years. My goal was to help guide the family into a loving
and nurturing relationship, where all family members respected one
another and others.
My background includes working in the medical field as an
operating room technologist and other various positions with over 30
years of infant care experience. During my 5-year tenure as an
operating room technologist, I assisted the Obstetricians in the
delivery room with C-sections.
